Canyon undertakes to comply with the provisions of the GDPR and with any applicable privacy and data protection laws. Canyon technical and organizational measures aimed at assuring compliance with the GDPR and/or any other applicable data protection laws.

Collection and Use of Personal Data

Personal Data is data that can be used to identify or contact a single person.

You, as a Data Subject, may be asked to provide your Personal Data anytime Data Subject is in contact with Canyon and Canyon Affiliated Company*. Canyon on its own acts as a Data Controller of your Personal Data. Canyon and its Affiliates may share this Personal Data with each other and use it consistent with this Privacy Policy. They may also combine it with other information to provide and improve our products, services, content, and advertising. Data Subject is not required to provide the Personal Data that we have requested, but, if Data Subject chose not to do so, in many cases we will not be able to provide Data Subject with our products or services or respond to any queries Data Subject may have.

What Personal Data we collect

Disclosure to Third Parties

At times Canyon may provide third parties with certain Personal Data to provide or improve our products and services, including to deliver products at your request, or to help Canyon market to consumers. When we do, we require those third parties to handle it in accordance with relevant laws. Personal Data will never be shared with third parties for their marketing purposes. For example, when Data Subject purchases and activates your Keyboard, Data Subject authorises Canyon and your carrier to exchange the information Data Subject provides during the activation process to carry out service, including information about your device. If Data Subject is approved for service, your account will be governed by Canyon and your carrier’s respective privacy policies.

Others

It may be necessary − by law, legal process, litigation, and/or requests from public and governmental authorities within or outside your country of residence − for Canyon to disclose your Personal Data. We may also disclose information if we determine that for purposes of national security, law enforcement, or other issues of public importance, disclosure is necessary or appropriate. We may also disclose information, but only where there is a lawful basis for doing so, if we determine that disclosure is reasonably necessary to enforce our terms and conditions or protect our operations or users.  This could include providing information to public, and/or governmental authorities, and/or Supervisory Authority. Protection of Personal Data

Canyon will refrain from undertaking any Data Transfer outside of the European Union and/or the Republic of Belarus in relation to Personal Data transmitted. If any Data Transfer is required for Canyon to conduct its activities, Canyon undertakes to notify the Data Subject prior to the commencement of the Data Transfer and provide information in relation to the territory of transfer and the instrument in place to govern such transfer.Canyon takes the security of your Personal Data very seriously. When your personal data is stored by Canyon, we use computer systems with limited access housed in facilities using physical security measures.When Data Subject uses some Canyon services or application or post on a Canyon website, the Personal Data and content Data Subject share is visible to other users and can be read, collected, or used by them. Canyon does not take any decisions involving the use of algorithms or profiling that significantly affects you.

Integrity and Retention of Personal Data

Canyon makes it easy for Data Subject to keep your Personal Data accurate, complete, and up to date. We will retain your Personal Data for the period necessary to fulfil the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy and our service specific privacy summaries. When assessing these periods, we carefully examine our need to collect Personal Data at all and if we establish a relevant need, we only retain it for the shortest possible period to realise the purpose of collection unless a longer retention period is required by law.

Access to Personal Data

To provide location-based services, Canyon may collect, use, and share precise location data, including the real-time geographic location of your computer or device. Where available, location-based services may use GPS, Bluetooth, and your IP Address, along with crowd-sourced Wi-Fi hotspot and cell tower locations, and other technologies to determine your devices’ approximate location. Unless Data Subject provide consent, this location data is collected anonymously in a form that does not personally identify Data Subject and is used by Canyon to provide and improve location-based services. For example, your device may share its geographic location with the application when Data Subject opt in to the location services.

Canyon websites, products, applications, and services may contain links to third-party websites, products, and services. Our products and services may also use or offer products or services from third parties.Information collected by third parties, which may include such things as location data or contact details, is governed by their privacy practices.
